Welcome to our temporary new normal. This COVID-19 pandemic has changed things up.
Many of us have been working off-site in our homes, as Eva’s does our part to flatten the curve. Meanwhile, our front-line staff are doing the exact opposite. They are leaving their loved ones at home and coming in. They are pushing their fears and anxieties aside and are fully showing up for our youth.
Those working from home have been working feverishly to make sure that the front-line staff and the youth are supported. For example, they have been doing programming remotely, making sure that that payments are made, cheques are cut and our fundraising efforts are ramped up.
We are divided physically, but united in purpose. We are all Eva’s Heroes.
#IAppreciate #EvasHeroes is a new campaign to show our appreciation for each other.
We are all in this together. We are all working to make sure that our young people get the support they need to realize brighter futures.
How It Works
- SEND A PICTURE OF VIDEO WITH A MESSAGE TO COLLEAGUES: If you are taking a photo, write a message on a piece of paper, or if you are sending a video, just say what you appreciate about your colleagues at home or at work.
- Send your submissions by Friday, April 17th to [email protected]
- Start each piece with #IAppreciate … and end with #EvasHeoroes
You can make a video…
Or take a selfie….
4. Feel free to be as creative as you wish.
5. Send your works of art to [email protected]. We’ll upload the pictures and videos to a special web page.
What will we do with the videos?
We will be creating a special website page with all the different submissions and using some of them on social media and externally.
If you have any questions or need help with this, please contact: [email protected]
Let’s us create a flood of appreciation.
Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
